Calendar for School Holidays, Closings and Special Events

Denton city County Day School will observe the following holidays and staff development days. In the event of inclement weather and Denton IDS closes, Denton City County Day School will also close. If the weather or circumstances beyond our control warrant closing the school parents will be notified as quickly as possible.

The following dates are scheduled closures. All fees are due in full, with the exception of winter/Christmas break, then weekly fees will be half price.

• Staff Development, twice a year, TBA
• Thanksgiving Break, November
• Winter/Christmas Break, December
• Martin Luther King Jr., January
• Good Friday, the Friday before Easter
• Memorial Day, May
• 4^th of July

Denton City County Day School will celebrate the following special events and will add some other events throughout the year.
